Renata Dwan

Trustee at MAG

Renata Dwan has a long and accomplished history working in various international organizations focused on peace and security. Renata began their career at the EastWest Institute as the Deputy Director of the European Security Programme. Renata then moved on to SIPRI, where they were the Project Lead for Armed Conflict and Conflict Management. In 2002, they joined the Council of the European Union as Policy Advisor. Three years later, they became the Director of UNIDIR, the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research. Renata served in that role for 18 years until 2020, when they became a Trustee at MAG. Throughout their career, Renata Dwan has been a passionate advocate for peace and security worldwide.

Renata Dwan has a D.Phil in International Relations and Affairs from the University of Oxford, an M.Phil in the same field from the same school, a B.A. in Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford, and an International Baccalaureate from UWC-USA.
