Tegan Narain

Tegan Narain is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in government relations, programme support, and communications within various non-profit and charitable organizations. Currently serving as a Government Relations Officer and Programme Support Officer at MAG (Mines Advisory Group) since July 2021, Tegan focuses on mine action, risk education, and arms management initiatives across Europe, the Middle East, and South/South East Asia. Prior roles include volunteer and relief work at Independent Choices, and involvement in the National School Breakfast Programme with Family Action, enhancing breakfast provision for children in need. Tegan has also contributed as a Foster Carer, Fundraising and Communications Officer for the Bishop Simeon Trust, Development Worker for Girlguiding North West England, and various communication and fundraising roles with organizations such as Azafady, UK-German Connection, and Malaria No More UK. Educational qualifications include a PGDip in Development Management from The Open University and a BA Hons in French and German from the University of Nottingham.
