Jaya Kannan S is an experienced quality assurance professional with a robust background in engineering. Currently serving as the Manager of Quality Assurance at Magna Electro Castings since November 2021, Jaya previously held the position of Head of Quality Assurance at STEER Engineering (P) Ltd. from February 2018 to November 2021. Prior roles include Senior Engineer QA at Oriental Plants & Equipments Pvt Ltd - India from July 2009 to January 2018, Engineer Quality Assurance at JRE Valves & Pumps Private Limited from August 2005 to May 2009, and Engineer Trainee QA at GTN Engineering (India) Ltd. from May 2003 to May 2005. Jaya holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University and a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Kalasalingam Institute of Technology.

Magna is in the business of manufacturing and supplying ferrous components in small and medium volumes to users worldwide. Magna specializes in the manufacture of Ductile Iron, Grey Iron, Composite, Si-Mo and ADI Castings in the weight range of 800 grams to a maximum of 500 kilograms per piece. Magna can also supply fully machined components, utilizing its in-house CNC machine shop with over 26 CNC machines. Magna has extensive experience in the supply of safety requirement components in casting and fully machined forms. The components meet stringent requirements in terms of radiographic quality and metallurgical control. Magna has established warehousing in the USA - this facility along with bi-weekly container shipments allows us to cater to low volume requirements. Our warehousing capability also enables us to supply products just in time to customers in the USA.
