Laurie Camara currently serves as the Area Director of Human Resources at Magna Hospitality Group, L.C. since August 2021, and also holds the title of TEAM and Employee Relations Manager. Prior to this role, Laurie was the Manager of Hospitality Training and Education at the RI Hospitality Association & RI Hospitality Education Foundation from November 2018 to October 2021. Laurie's experience includes serving as Multi Unit F&B Operations Manager at HMSHost International from January 2012 to November 2018, and as Sous Chef and Catering Coordinator at IGT from January 2011 to January 2012. Laurie's early career included a position as Assistant Manager at Au Bon Pain from June 2009 to January 2011. Laurie earned a Bachelor of Arts in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from Johnson & Wales University between 2005 and 2009.
