André Solomon

André Solomon has extensive work experience in various IT roles. André started their career at Starnet Systems International Inc in 1999 as a Systems Administrator, where they managed the production environment, performed helpdesk functions, and resolved system issues. André then became a Senior Systems Administrator, coordinating the efforts of junior administrators and maintaining websites. In 2002, they transitioned to the role of Information Technology Manager at the same company, leading a team and implementing operational standards.

In 2006, Solomon joined Sunvale Inc as an Information Technology Manager, responsible for managing staff, maintaining uptime, and establishing a disaster recovery data center. André later became a Data Center Manager, overseeing budgets, support contracts, and NetApp cluster upgrades.

In 2018, Solomon moved to Caribbean Union Bank as an Information Technology Director, where they executed IT functions, managed IT operations, and engineered an incident management process. André also worked at Kipany as an Infrastructure Manager, managing projects, supporting end users, and overseeing compliance practices.

Most recently, Solomon joined SOLO TechPlus LLC as an Information Technology Director in 2018. In this role, they lead the vision, strategy, and execution of all IT facets, partnering with stakeholders to gather business requirements and improve IT infrastructure.

In 2021, Solomon began working at Magna5 as a Project Manager, though no end date is provided for this role.

André Solomon's education history includes a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Studies from The University of the West Indies, Mona, which they completed between 1995 and 1998.
