Matt Kimpel

Matt Kimpel began their work experience in 2007 as a NOC Engineer Intern at NetServe365. Matt then held various roles at NetServe365, including Network Engineer, Technical Delivery Manager, Senior Network Engineer, and Director of Advanced Engineering. In 2017, Kimpel joined Magna5, where they served as the Director of IT Engineering and later as the Director of Cybersecurity. Currently, Kimpel holds the position of VP of Information Security at Magna5.

Matt Kimpel attended Pittsburgh Technical College from 2005 to 2007, where they pursued a degree in Network Security & Computer Forensics. Matt also obtained various certifications in the field of Information Technology, including Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), CISSP, DoDD 8570 IAT Level III, Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Design, CCNP Enterprise, Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Advanced Infrastructure Implementation, Cisco Certified Specialist - Enterprise Core, CCNP Security, CNSS 4013 Recognition, Cisco Certified Specialist - Network Security Firepower, Cisco Certified Specialist - Network Security VPN Implementation, Cisco Certified Specialist - Security Core, Cisco Certified Specialist - Security Identity Management Implementation, Cisco Certified Specialist - Web Content Security, CNSS 4011 Recognition, and CCNA.
