Junghwan Lee

Senior Vice President at Magnachip Semiconductor

Junghwan Lee has extensive experience in the semiconductor industry. Junghwan started their career at Samsung Electronics as a Research Assistant, where they worked on the development and integration of SRAM and DRAM processes. Junghwan then transferred a 256 Kb SRAM to the production line. After that, they joined SK hynix as a Senior Manager, where they contributed to the development and transfer of DRAM technology, specifically improving the refresh time of DRAM cells. Most recently, Junghwan worked at MagnaChip Semiconductor as a Senior Vice President, focusing on technology development for various applications such as mixed signal, high voltage, sensors, and non-volatile memory. Junghwan also created ultra-low noise technology for Audio Codec and designed the world's smallest EEPROM cell.

Junghwan Lee obtained a Master's degree from Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology in 1985. Following this, they pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Engineering from Drexel University between 1991 and 1996.
