Fazal Malik

Fazal Malik has a diverse work experience in the field of merchant acquiring and sales. Fazal is currently working as the Director of Merchant Acquiring & eCommerce Business at Magnati since April 2022. Prior to this, they were employed at JPMorgan Chase & Co., where they held the position of ATS - Merchant Acquiring from May 2021 to December 2021.

Before joining JPMorgan Chase & Co., Fazal worked at RAKBANK as the Head of Sales & Key Accounts - Merchant Acquiring from February 2018 to May 2021. Fazal also served as a Sr. Merchant Specialist at TD from January 2017 to January 2018, and as a VAR / OEM Specialist at Global Payments in Canada from June 2016 to December 2016.

In addition, Fazal had previous roles at Avis Budget Group as a Corporate Sales Representative in Canada from November 2015 to May 2016, at TD Canada Trust as a VISA Specialist in Canada from November 2014 to June 2015, and at National Bank of Abu Dhabi as the National Sales Manager - Merchant Acquiring in the UAE from September 2010 to July 2014.

Fazal's earlier experience includes roles at Mashreqbank, where they served as an Assistant Vice President in Collection and Recovery from August 2009 to August 2010, as a Business Manager for Merchant Overdraft & Commercial Loans from April 2008 to July 2009, as a Cluster Head for Merchant Acquiring from January 2006 to March 2008, and as a Relationship Manager for Merchant Acquiring from March 2004 to December 2005. Prior to that, they worked at Technical Business Management Services (TBMS) as a Business Development Executive for Merchant Acquiring from November 2002 to February 2004.

Fazal Malik attended Pakistan Education Academy in Dubai, U.A.E. from 1998 to 1999, where they completed their high school education with a focus on Business/Commerce. Fazal then went on to pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration (B.B.A.) degree with a specialization in Marketing at Newport University, where they studied from 1999 to 2002.
