Riad Kiwan

Riad Kiwan has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over several years. Riad is currently working as the Head of Technology Operations & Cards Processing at Magnati since May 2021. Prior to this, they were self-employed as a consultant at Kiwan FinTech Consultancy starting in November 2020.

Before their self-employment, Riad has held various positions at different companies. From April 2019 to June 2020, they worked as the IT Head - Application Services Management at ADIB - Abu Dhabi Islamic Bank. From April 2017 to March 2019, they served as the Head of IT Systems at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB).

Riad has a long history with the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, starting from September 2004 to April 2017. During this time, they held multiple roles including Head of Business Applications, Manager Delivery Channels, Group Leader Delivery Channels, Technical Lead Cards Systems, and Senior Analyst Cards Systems. In these roles, Riad was responsible for leading IT teams, providing technical and functional support for various business applications, managing application support teams, and handling critical cards and merchants related applications.

Prior to joining the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, Riad worked at Al Jaber Group as a Systems Analyst from January 1996 to June 1998. Before that, they were a Programmer at Beayni Trading in Lebanon from September 1994 to November 1995.

Riad's work experience showcases their expertise in technology operations, application management, IT leadership, and cards processing. Their roles have involved managing teams, delivering technical support, and ensuring the smooth functioning of various systems and applications.

Riad Kiwan completed their Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Engineering at Odessa National Polytechnic University from 1988 to 1994.
