Syed Ahsen Ather

Syed Ahsen Ather has a range of work experience in the technology and banking industries.

Since July 2021, they have been working at Magnati as an Integration Specialist (SME Acquiring Payments), where they manage technical integrations, troubleshoots payments integration issues, and helps integrate payment services with different systems. Syed Ahsen acts as a project manager for integration projects, manages Magnati's Payment as a Platform, and implements innovative solutions. Syed Ahsen has also worked with key clients such as Al Futtaim Group and Al Shaya Group.

Prior to their role at Magnati, Syed worked at First Abu Dhabi Bank (FAB) as a Technical Analyst from January 2020 to July 2021. In this role, they managed Payment as a Platform, acted as a project manager for POS integration projects, and troubleshooted payments integration issues. Syed Ahsen also worked as an SME for instore and online acquiring solutions, led presales for payment solutions, and worked with key clients such as Al Futtaim Group and Al Shaya Group.

Before joining FAB, they worked at Access Group as a C, C++ Developer from April 2018 to November 2019, and at Genie Pak as an Associate Software Engineer from November 2016 to March 2018.

Syed Ahsen Ather obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science from Bahria University. Syed Ahsen then went on to pursue a Master's degree in Computer Science from the same institution, which they completed in 2019.
