Shan Zhan 单湛

Shan Zhan has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Shan began their career as an Automation & Instrument Engineer at Gold East Paper Co., Ltd. in 1998. Shan then moved on to ThyssenKrupp as a Project Coordinator and Engineer, responsible for plant automation and electrical equipment engineering.

In 2001, they joined ABB and held various roles over the years. Shan started as a Global Lead Engineer and Engineering Manager, managing and developing the engineering team for pulp & paper projects in the South East Asia and Pacific region. Shan also served as BU Strategic Projects - Project Manager, overseeing a business restructure and change management project for the Control Technologies Business Unit.

Their most recent role before joining Magnequench as the Vice President of Sales and Marketing in 2019 was as the Global Business Manager for the Food & Beverage Industry at ABB Control Technologies. In this role, they were responsible for driving profitable growth, executing global growth initiatives, and establishing global business strategies.

Shan Zhan, also known as 单湛, has a diverse education history. From 1995 to 1998, Shan attended ZhenJiang College (镇江高等专科学校) where they obtained a Diploma in Electrical Engineering. Later, Shan pursued higher education and completed an MBA in General Management from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business from 2008 to 2010.
