David Cortes

David Cortes is an accomplished operations and supply chain executive with extensive experience in the EMEIA region. Most recently serving as Vice President of Operations, Supply Chain and Product Management at Magnera Corporation from November 2024 to September 2025, Cortes managed operations across 21 sites, overseeing over $1.5 billion in sales and a workforce of 3,500 employees. Prior to this role, Cortes held several key positions at Berry Global, Inc., including Vice President of Operations & Supply Chain for EMEIA, where responsibilities encompassed 12 sites with sales exceeding $600 million. Additional experience includes positions as Regional Operations Director, Plant Director, and Expansion Manager at La Farga Group, along with a background in consulting at everis and production management at GE. Educational qualifications include an Ingenieria en Organizacion Industrial from UPC and an Ingenieria Tecnica Industrial from Universitat Rovira i Virgili.
