Daniel Peake has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Daniel began their career at Derwentside Engineering Forum in 2007 as a Year in Industry Student, where they provided support for e-commerce, inter-trading, and infrastructure projects. During this time, they also project-managed an engineering project for year 9 pupils.

In 2008, Peake joined Comet as a Sales Colleague and quickly established himself as a key member of the sales team. Daniel gained experience in various job roles across 8 stores and was praised for their customer interaction and ability to communicate with customers of all levels of product knowledge.

Peake then moved up in the ranks at Comet, becoming a Sales Supervisor in charge of training colleagues and improving store performance. Daniel was later promoted to Sales Manager, where they led teams in delivering outstanding customer service and achieving high levels of performance.

In 2013, Peake joined B&Q as a TradePoint Manager, managing a team of 15 colleagues and delivering double-digit growth. Daniel then became a Deputy Manager, where they made commercial decisions, implemented change, and completed two Rightsize programs.

Most recently, Peake joined Magnet Ltd in 2015 as a Store Manager Designate. Daniel spent time shadowing their coach manager and later supported the opening of a new store. Daniel then progressed to roles such as Store Manager and Process & Compliance Manager (North). Currently, they hold the position of Head of Central Operations.

Throughout their work experience, Peake has demonstrated the ability to lead teams, improve store performance, and deliver exceptional customer service.

Daniel Peake attended Moorside Community Technology College from 1999 to 2004 where they obtained 9 GCSE qualifications in various subjects. Daniel then pursued further education at Nottingham Trent University from 2008 to 2011, earning a Diploma of Higher Education in Physics.
