Aaron Moss has over a decade of extensive experience in finance and accounting, currently serving as Deputy CFO of Asset Diligence & Investment Oversight at Magnetar since April 2011, where responsibilities include valuation, due diligence, portfolio surveillance, and accounting under IFRS and US GAAP. Previously at Magnetar, Aaron held positions such as Controller and Assistant Controller, managing financial reporting, fund analysis, and the monthly close process. Prior experience includes working as a Senior Accountant at Ernst & Young, a Small Business Lending Analyst at Oak Brook Bank, and an Assistant Financial Planner at Salomon Smith Barney. Aaron holds a Master of Science in Accounting from the University of Virginia and an undergraduate degree in Finance from Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
