Brian McIntire

Brian McIntire is an experienced software engineer with a comprehensive background in financial technology. Currently serving as a Software Engineer at Magnetar Capital since November 2012, Brian previously held the position of Senior Software Engineer at Balyasny Asset Management from September 2008 to November 2012, and worked as a Senior Application Developer at JPMorgan Chase from September 2005 to August 2008. Brian's early career includes roles as an Application Developer at Marshall Swift / Boeckh and as a Consultant for the Florida House of Representatives and AIU Online. Brian earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from the University of Iowa, where studies were completed from August 1999 to May 2003.
