Ross Laser

Ross Laser co-founded Magnetar Capital in 2005. As President of the firm and Chairman of Magnetar’s Management Committee, he is responsible for firm-wide management.

Ross has more than 25 years of experience in financial markets spanning investment strategy, capital formation and derivatives trading. Before co-founding Magnetar, he was the President and a Managing Partner at Glenwood Capital Investments. During his years at Glenwood, Ross was a member of the Investment Committee and co-head of the Management Committee. He has also been a member of the International Monetary Market of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange since 1985 and was on the Lurie Children’s Foundation Board of Directors from 2002 to 2014.

Ross earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Michigan.
