Steven Conolly

Steve Conolly is a professor in Bioengineering and Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences (EECS) at UC Berkeley, where involvement began in June 2005. Conolly is a co-founder of Magnetic Insight and serves as the founder and head of the Scientific Advisory Board since June 2014. At UC Berkeley, Conolly's research focuses on pioneering Magnetic Particle Imaging (MPI), leading to the development of the first four MPI scanners in North America. Prior experience includes a role as a Senior Research Associate at Stanford University from 1990 to 2004, with contributions to advanced MRI pulse sequences and Prepolarized MRI in collaboration with Dr. Conolly holds a Master's and Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, earned between 1982 and 1989.
