Yuval Taff

Yuval Taff has extensive work experience in the medical device industry. Yuval co-founded Magneto Thrombectomy Solutions and served as the CTO, playing a key role in developing the eTrieve™ catheter system for the treatment of ischemic stroke and pulmonary embolism. The eTrieve™ utilizes the electric properties of blood clots to safely remove them through thrombectomy. Prior to this, Yuval worked as a consultant, leveraging their knowledge and experience gained during their service in the IDF, focusing on medical devices in fields such as cardiovascular solutions, ablation treatments, radiotherapy, and digital health. Before their consultancy work, Yuval worked as a physicist in the Ellite Technological Unit of the IDF Intelligence Corps, managing and participating in projects that provided innovative physical solutions to various problems. Their work involved hands-on experimental work in large scale experiments and developing theoretical models to investigate product performance.

Yuval Taff holds a Master's Degree in Electro-Optic engineering, which they earned from Ben-Gurion University of the Negev from 2011 to 2015. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics from the same university, studying from 2005 to 2008.
