Oluwashina Akinsanmi

Oluwashina Akinsanmi has extensive experience as a data engineer, currently serving as Data Engineer II at Magnite since May 2025. Prior to this role, Oluwashina worked at ASOS.com from April 2022 to May 2025, advancing through various titles including Big Data Engineer and Associate II Big Data Engineer. The foundational skills acquired include Agile methodologies, Microsoft Azure, Python, SQL, and Databricks, complemented by a 10-week training at the Big Data Engineering Academy. Oluwashina holds a PhD in Life and Health Sciences from Ulster University and a Master's in Sustainable Environmental Management from the University of Greenwich, along with a Bachelor's in Marine Biology from the University of Lagos. Prior roles include environmental consultancy, project management, and research, showcasing a strong background in environmental science and sustainability.
