FPGA Engineer at magniX

Dmitry Turchin has a strong background in FPGA engineering, with over 10 years of experience in various roles. Dmitry started their career at Vertech in 2006 as an FPGA designer, where they worked on firmware design for DSP applications. In 2007, they joined R.Ltd as a Senior FPGA Engineer, where they developed complex FPGA designs for systems with massive signal processing applications. Dmitry was responsible for the complete FPGA design cycle, including design, simulation, RTL, synthesis, place & route, timing analysis, verification, and intermittent issue troubleshooting. In 2015, Dmitry moved to R.Ltd as an Electronic System Integration Engineer, where they were involved in system-level design of electronics modules for radio communication systems. Dmitry also gathered and adapted requirements, conducted design reviews, performed systems testing and debugging, and was responsible for HW-FPGA-SW integrations. In 2016, they joined MDA Corporation as a Firmware Engineer, working on firmware development projects. Dmitry worked there until 2018. Dmitry then returned to magniX in 2019 as an FPGA Engineer, before taking on a new role as an FPGA Engineer at MicroVision in 2020. Dmitry is currently working at magniX in the same role.

Dmitry Turchin holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Systems Engineering from Technion - Israel Institute of Technology. Dmitry completed this degree program from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Afeka Tel Aviv Academic College of Engineering, which they pursued from 2004 to 2006. Dmitry also has additional certifications, including Private Aircraft Pilot from Rainier Flight Service and RF for Systems Engineers from INTERLLIGENT - RF & Microwave Solutions.
