Ricardo Bacha Borges

Ricardo Bacha Borges is an experienced engineer specializing in avionics systems and software with a focus on aerospace applications. Currently serving as a Consultant and BMS Software Leader at magniX since January 2023, and as a Senior Avionics Systems and Software Engineer at B2Space since February 2021, Ricardo is actively involved in developing cost-effective solutions for space launch systems and mentoring junior engineers. Previously, positions held include Control Systems Design Engineer at Rolls-Royce, where contributions were made to hybrid aviation projects and a ventilator challenge, as well as significant roles at Embraer on the KC-390 program and the modernization of the A-4 Skyhawk. With a Master of Engineering in Aeronautical Engineering from Instituto Tecnológico de Aeronáutica and a Bachelor of Science in Automatic Control from Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina, Ricardo possesses a strong technical foundation complemented by extensive hands-on experience with various tools and technologies in both embedded systems and control laws development.
