Alfredo Rubalcava is an experienced educational leader currently serving as the Chief Executive Officer and Superintendent of Magnolia Public Schools since July 2018. Previously, Alfredo was the Senior Advisor of Diversity, Outreach and Community Development at the California Charter Schools Association and held multiple roles at Magnolia Public Schools, including Chief External Officer and Principal of Magnolia Science Academy-Bell, where a successful charter renewal was achieved. Alfredo’s career began as a Physical Education Teacher and Athletic Director at Magnolia Science Academy-Reseda, emphasizing the importance of physical activity in student success. Alfredo holds a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from California State University, Northridge.
