Taylor Kolbus, PE

Taylor Kolbus has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. From 2020 until the present, they have been employed at Magnolia River, holding the positions of Vice Chairman Employee Committee and Business Development Account Manager. In these roles, Taylor has demonstrated proficiency in sales practices, relationship building, and clear communication, contributing to the improvement of client financial results and the growth of the company.

Prior to Magnolia River, Taylor worked at Kiewit as a Mechanical Engineer from 2014 to 2020. During this time, they gained a wealth of experience in estimating, consulting, and mechanical system design, with a focus on EPC Power, LNG, industrial, Carbon Capture, and Combined Heat & Power projects. Taylor's abilities in technical knowledge and building client relationships have allowed them to create client-focused solutions.

Outside of their engineering career, Taylor has also served as a Basketball Official at the Kansas State High School Activities Association from 2016 to 2020. They gained further experience as a Mechanical Engineer intern at Austal in 2013, a Summer Maintenance Worker at Parker Hannifin in 2012, and through a mentorship role at VAST Power Systems Inc in 2011.

Taylor's educational background includes being a NAIA Basketball Athlete and Counselor at Bethel University from 2010 to 2013. Overall, their work experience demonstrates a combination of technical expertise, relationship building, and a commitment to personal growth and learning.

Taylor Kolbus, PE holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame. In addition, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Math/Physics from Bethel University. Furthermore, Taylor Kolbus has obtained a Professional Engineer (PE) certification from the Kansas State Board of Technical Professions in May 2020.
