Jeffrey Pickett

Jeffrey Pickett has a diverse work experience in various industries. Jeffrey is currently the Co-Founder and Chief Product Officer of MAGNOTHERM®, an emerging university spin-off focused on permanent magnets and magnetic cooling. Jeffrey'srole involves developing cutting-edge energy conversion solutions for cooling and heating systems. Prior to this, Jeffrey was the Co-Founder and Chief Operating Officer of Augmented Thinking, where they built an innovation platform based on the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals.

Before their entrepreneurial ventures, Jeffrey gained experience as an intern at Porsche, where they worked for several months in 2016. Jeffrey also held multiple positions at DART Racing, serving as the Head of Chassis & Aerodynamics Department from 2013 to 2014 and as a Technical Team Member in the same department from 2012 to 2013. Additionally, Jeffrey worked as a Manufacturing Engineering Intern at the Institute of Aircraft Design at the University of Stuttgart in 2009.

Early in their career, Jeffrey had the opportunity to intern at Ford Motor Company as an Exterior Design Intern in 2008. Overall, Jeffrey Pickett's work experience highlights their involvement in technology startups, automotive design, and engineering research.

Jeffrey Pickett's education history includes a range of degrees in various fields of study. From 2016 to 2018, they attended Imperial College London and obtained a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Global Innovation Design. During the same period, they also studied at the Royal College of Art and earned a Master of Arts (M.A.) in Global Innovation Design.

In 2015-2016, Jeffrey Pickett attended EPFL (École polytechnique fédérale de Lausanne) for a year abroad as part of their Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. Jeffrey'sfield of study during this time was focused on Management of Technology & Entrepreneurship.

Prior to their postgraduate studies, Jeffrey Pickett completed a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering and Management from Technische Universität Darmstadt. Jeffrey undertook this program from 2011 to 2016. Additionally, in 2011, they briefly studied Engineering and Management at Hochschule München University of Applied Sciences for one year.

Jeffrey Pickett's education journey began at Robert-Mayer Gymnasium in Heilbronn, where they completed their Abitur, equivalent to A-Level in Germany, from 2002 to 2009.
