Matt Jones

Matt is a Senior Principal at MKA and leads the firm’s civil engineering practice. He brings an unusually broad perspective to his designs, having served as a Drip Irrigation Project Coordinator in rural Kenya, a university lecturer on Business Analysis Methods in Australia, and Project Manager for a 2,500-acre master-planned, nationally recognized “Green Community” in the U.S. Since joining MKA, his focus has been on the development of highly sustainable site designs featuring innovative low impact development interventions and holistic water solutions that reduce potable water consumption. He is the Chair of ASCE Headquarters "Walk the Talk" project, a working group member and contributing author to the "Non-Potable Water Reuse Practice Guide," a LEED accredited professional, and skilled at 3-Dimensional modeling for civil design visualization and integration.
