Michael Blanchard

Michael Blanchard has been working in the engineering and IT fields since 2005. Michael began their career as a Helpdesk Technician for the University of Colorado Libraries IT Department in 2005, and later became a Faculty Instructor in the same department. In 2010, they joined Magswitch Technology, Inc. where they have held various positions, including Senior Engineering and Systems Manager, IT and Business Systems Admin, Application Engineering Process Manager, VP Automation Sales, Engineering Manager, and Mechanical Design Engineer. In their roles, they have been responsible for mentoring engineers and other employees, streamlining system interfaces and automation, integrating with global engineering teams, deploying and configuring CRM and ERP environments, executing conversions of on-prem systems to cloud solutions, founding new departments, developing systems and processes, training distributor/dealer sales representatives and product managers, leading teams of engineers, designing industrial and robotic magnetic tooling, providing application assistance and design, overseeing manufacture and testing of MIS products, organizing and directing IT projects, and assisting with helpdesk requests.

Michael Blanchard obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder between 2005 and 2009. Michael also holds a NCEES Certified Engineering Intern (EIT) certification from NCEES.
