Tamás Katona

Tamás Katona is an experienced FinTech and crypto analyst currently working at Magyar Nemzeti Bank since October 2015, where additional responsibilities include Market Abuse/SSR and DLT analysis. Tamás serves as a lecturer at Budapest Institute of Banking (BIB) since March 2019 and previously held a position as a Junior Associate at Hogan Lovells from January to October 2015. Earlier in the career, Tamás worked as an auditor at the Directorate General for Audit of European Funds in 2014, a trainee lawyer at Dr. Márta Fabók Law Firm from 2013 to 2014, and as a clerk for the Hungarian Prosecution Service in 2011. Tamás holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Sopron and a Master of Science in Law from Eötvös Loránd University, complemented by an Erasmus study at the University of Warsaw. Additional educational credentials include training from KÜRT Akadémia and the Academy of European Law.
