As the Founder and CEO of Mah-Ze-Dahr Bakery since January 2013, Umber Ahmad has established a globally recognized bakery concept praised for its innovation and quality. In addition to this role, Umber Ahmad serves as Vice President of the Board of The Eye-Bank for Sight Restoration and holds the position of Managing Director at Specialized Capital Management and Advisory, where expertise in business development and geographic expansion is leveraged across multiple global markets. Previous professional roles include Partner and Executive Director at Platinum Gate Capital Management LLC, Principal and Co-Founder at Goldenridge Capital LLC, and Vice President at Goldman Sachs, along with an Associate position at Morgan Stanley. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance and Health Care Management from The Wharton School, an MPH in International Health Policy from the University of Michigan, and a BS in Biology from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
