Student Services & Housing Program Specialist at Mountain Area Health Education Center - MAHEC

Jasmine Wood, MHA, currently serves as the Student Services & Housing Program Specialist at Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) since May 2017, and is an NC AHEC Scholar, participating in a program aimed at enhancing the education of health professions students in rural and underserved urban settings. Previous roles include Program Coordinator at the Office of Regional Primary Care Education and Program Assistant at the Center for Health Professions Education. Additionally, Jasmine has experience as a Childcare Provider at Covenant Community Church, a Sales Associate at Carmike Cinemas and The Shoe Department Encore, and completed a Health Care Management Internship at Mountain Area Health Center. Jasmine holds a Master of Healthcare Administration (MHA) from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and a Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Management from Campbell University.
