Sarah Briggs

Sarah Briggs is a triage therapist at the Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) since September 2025. Prior to this role, Sarah held several positions at firsthand, including interim director of community operations, director of community operations, and guide team lead from April 2022 to September 2025. Sarah also served as the support coordinator supervisor for ECF CHOICES BlueCare at BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee from May 2016 to April 2022 and worked as a DIDD service coordinator at the State of Tennessee from June 2015 to May 2016. Academically, Sarah holds a Master of Social Work (MSW) from The University of Alabama, a Master of Divinity (MDiv) from Vanderbilt Divinity School, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Religion/Religious Studies from Washington and Lee University.
