Tanisha Edgerton

Tanisha Edgerton is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in administrative and clinical roles. Currently, Tanisha serves as the Clinical Team Leader at Mountain Area Health Education Center (MAHEC) since December 2020. Prior to this, Tanisha worked as a Scheduling Coordinator at Asheville Neurology Specialists, where responsibilities included managing the scheduling line and coordinating appointments. Additionally, Tanisha served as an Administrative Assistant at Appalachian Mountain Community Health Center, supporting HR functions, and worked in various roles including Certified Medical Assistant at Genova Diagnostics and Medical Office Assistant at WNC Hypertension Center. Tanisha holds an Associate in Applied Science, Medical Assistant from South College of Asheville, earned between 2009 and 2010.
