Amit Kumar

Amit Kumar has extensive work experience in the automotive industry. Amit is currently Vice President & Chief Engineer- Product Development at Mahindra and Mahindra Limited's Automotive and Farm Equipment Business. Prior to this, they held the role of Senior General Manager & Chief Platform Head - Product Development at the same company. Before joining Mahindra and Mahindra Limited, Amit worked at Mahindra Truck and Bus, where they held various positions in Product Development, including Senior General Manager, General Manager & Platform Head, and Deputy General Manager & Platform Head. Amit also served as Deputy General Manager - Purchase & Vendor Development at the company. Earlier in their career, Amit worked at Mahindra Navistar Automotives Ltd. as DGM- Corporate Planning & Strategy. Amit started their career at Maruti Udyog Limited as Deputy Manager- Manufacturing and also worked as an Assistant Manager at Tata Motors.

Amit Kumar completed their Bachelor of Engineering in Production and Industrial from Delhi College of Engineering in the years 1993-1997. Amit then pursued a Master of Business Administration in Operations Management from SPJIMR SP Jain Institute of Management & Research from 2006-2008.
