Dr. Vimalathithan M is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in the automotive sector, currently serving as Principal Engineer and Platform Engineering Head for Electric Vehicles at Mahindra and Mahindra Limited since August 2020. Previously, Dr. Vimalathithan held various positions at Mahindra & Mahindra, including Manager of Trims Engineering, and has also worked at Defiance Technologies Limited, Tata Consultancy Services, GM INDIA, and Satyam Venture Engineering Services, focusing on automotive interiors and seating systems. Dr. Vimalathithan earned a PhD in Automobile/Automotive Mechanics Technology/Technician from Annamalai University, along with an MBA in HR Management from the same institution, and an undergraduate degree from Bharathidasan University.
