Viren Popli

Viren Popli has an extensive work experience spanning over various industries and roles. Viren currently serves as the CEO and Member of the Board of Directors at Mahindra Ag North America since November 2018. In addition, they hold the position of President at Mahindra Brasil since April 2023. Viren was previously the CEO and Member of the Board of Directors at Mahindra Automotive North America from April 2021.

Prior to their current roles, Viren served as a Member of the Management Board at Gromax Agri Equipment Ltd. from April 2017 to August 2019. Viren also held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd., FES, Swaraj Division from April 2015 to November 2018.

Furthermore, Viren held the role of Chief of Operations at Mahindra Two Wheelers Ltd. from August 2012 to March 2015. Before that, they worked as the Senior Vice President of Strategy & Market Development at Mahindra & Mahindra from May 2010 to October 2012. Viren also had a significant role as the Head of Media Initiatives at Mahindra Partners from May 2009 to May 2010.

Prior to their tenure at Mahindra, Viren worked at Star TV Network, where they served as Senior Vice President & Head of Mobile Entertainment from July 2006 to May 2009. Viren also held the position of Senior Vice President at STAR India from January 2004 to June 2006. Viren started their career at STAR India: News Corporation as Vice President from March 2000 to December 2003.

Viren Popli has completed various educational programs and degrees. Viren attended SPJIMR SP Jain Institute of Management & Research for the C-Suite Finance Program for Business Leaders, as well as for an MBA with a specialization in Marketing. Viren also studied at Harvard Business School, where they took a program called "Preparing to be a Corporate Director" and another program called the "Mahindra Universe Program." Additionally, Viren Popli holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering from Nagpur University and completed the ISC program at The Doon School. Finally, they obtained a second Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from SPJIMR SP Jain Institute of Management & Research.
