Deepak Thakur

Deepak Thakur has extensive work experience in the renewable energy industry. Deepak is currently the Managing Director and CEO at Mahindra Susten, where they are responsible for driving the strategic direction and vision of the company. Deepak also serves as a director for Mahindra Teqo, Mahindra Solarize, and Marvel Solren, overseeing their operations and sustainable business roadmap. Prior to Mahindra Susten, Deepak worked as the EVP of Renewable Energy & Storage at Reliance Industries Limited. Deepak has also held leadership roles at GCo Electrical, Sterling PBES Energy Solutions Ltd., and Sterling and Wilson, where they led the Hybrid Energy & Storage Business. Deepak started their career as the President of Sifam Tinsley Instrumentation Inc. and the CEO of Rishabh Instruments Private Limited. Deepak has a strong background in electrical metering, instrumentation, and industrial control products.

Deepak Thakur obtained a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services from Symbiosis International University from 1990-1992. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University.
