Abanti Sankaranarayanan

Abanti Sankaranarayanan currently serves as the Group Chief Public Affairs Officer and a member of the Group Executive Board at Mahindra Group since July 2022. Previously, Abanti held various significant roles, including Independent Board Director at Arvind Fashions Limited, Board Member at UK India Business Council, Board Director at The Advertising Standards Council of India, and Co-Chairman at the International Spirits & Wine Association of India. A notable tenure at DIAGEO India spanned over a decade, culminating in the role of Chief Strategy & Corporate Affairs Officer, where responsibilities included corporate relations and public policy. Abanti began a career in the Tata Administrative Service in 1992, managing major consumer brands across multiple countries until joining DIAGEO. Educational qualifications include an MBA from the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad and a BA (Hons) in Economics from St. Stephen’s College, Delhi.
