Dieter Ackermann

Dieter Ackermann is an accomplished IT and engineering professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within prominent organizations. Currently serving as the Head of IT Services for Engineering Applications at MAHLE, Dieter leads IT services in build and operations, manages initiatives in PLM/ALM/PM, and develops an international team. Previously, Dieter held the position of Head of Product Lifecycle Management at Purem by Eberspächer, where responsibilities included overseeing IT governance, developing PLM strategies, and implementing project management frameworks. A long tenure at Eberspächer Group encompassed diverse roles such as Head of Innovation Management and Head of Global Product Management, leading significant projects that enhanced technology strategy and market alignment. Dieter holds a Diplom Ingenieur degree from Hochschule Esslingen and is pursuing further education at St. Gallen Business School, complemented by a Project Management Professional certification.
