Dr. Andreas Rehl

Dr. Andreas Rehl, MBE has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry. Dr. Andreas served as the Director of R&D EU at MAHLE since August 2021. Prior to this, they held various leadership roles at MAHLE, including Head of Global Segment Liquid Systems, Filtration, and Engine Peripherals from July 2017 to July 2021, and Head of Development & Sales at MAHLE Motorsport from October 2014 to June 2017. Before joining MAHLE, Dr. Rehl worked at KS Kolbenschmidt GmbH, KSPG AG, where they served as Head of Advanced Engineering, BU Pistons from July 2012 to September 2014, and as a Project Manager in Advanced Research & Development from August 2005 to June 2012.

Dr. Andreas Rehl, MBE, obtained a Dr.-Ing. degree in Tribology and Internal Combustion Engines from the Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT). Dr. Andreas also holds a Master of Business and Engineering degree in General Management from Steinbeis Hochschule. Prior to that, they completed a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Mechanical Engineering and Internal Combustion Engines from Technische Universität Dresden.
