Hugh Blaxill

Hugh Blaxill is an experienced engineering leader currently serving as the General Manager and Head of Engineering at Dumarey USA since March 2025. With a robust background at MAHLE Powertrain LLC since July 2010 as Head of Engineering and General Manager, Hugh oversees a talented team focused on powertrain design and development. Prior roles include Special Projects Director at MAHLE Powertrain, where significant government-funded projects were won, and Chief Engineer for R&D at Mahle Powertrain Ltd, managing a team of 30 engineers on various client projects. Additional experience includes senior engineering positions at Cosworth Technology and Ricardo Consulting Engineers, contributing to engine development and performance projects for major global OEMs. Hugh holds an MPhil in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Bath.
