Thomas Harich

Thomas Harich has extensive work experience in the field of information technology and security. Thomas started their career as a Network System Administrator at Behr GmbH & Co KG in 1995 and later took on roles such as Administrator Competence Center Microsoft and Head of Competence Center Microsoft. In 2009, they became the Manager of Information Security at Behr GmbH & Co KG, a position they held until 2014.

From 2014 onwards, Thomas Harich joined MAHLE and held several positions within the company. Thomas started as the Manager IT-Security Europe and then became the Head of Global IT Information Security. In 2015, they also took on the role of IT Data Privacy coordinator. Their most recent role at MAHLE was Head of Global IT Compliance & Information Security, which they held until the present.

In addition to their positions at Behr GmbH & Co KG and MAHLE, Thomas Harich also worked as a Consultant for Microsoft, Data Privacy, and Security on a part-time basis from 2001 to 2010.

Thomas Harich obtained their diploma in Business Administration, specializing in Business Informatics, from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW) between 1992 and 1995. Thomas also has additional certifications including "Zertifizierung zum Datenschutzbeauftragten" from TÜV SüD in 2016, "Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)" from ISACA in 2015, and "Lead Auditor ISO 27001" from TÜV Rheinland Group in 2010.
