Communications Manager at Mahmee

Renee Gross has a varied work experience, beginning with a Production Internship at Michigan Radio in 2013. In 2014, they became the Creator and Producer of The Feminist Fork Podcast and an Arts Facilitator for Telling It. In the same year, they also began facilitating Audio Storytelling Workshops at the School of Art and Design at the University of Michigan and Detroit Community School. From 2010 to 2014, Renee was a Workshop Facilitator for the Prison Creative Arts Project (PCAP). In 2017, they held roles as a News Reporter Intern at KPCC - Southern California Public Radio, a Producer and Editor at USC Annenberg School for Communication & Journalism, and a Reporter and Host at KBBI. Most recently, Renee has been a Communications Coordinator and Communications Manager at Mahmee since 2020.

Renee Gross obtained a Master's degree in Journalism from the University of Southern California between 2016 and 2017. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Women’s Studies and Community Action and Social Change from the University of Michigan between 2009 and 2013.
