Paula Mata Osoro

Paula Mata Osoro currently serves as the Methods of Analysis and Control Systems Corporate Director at Mahou San Miguel since June 2017, where Paula also held the role of Central Físico-Químico Laboratory Manager. Additionally, Paula has been an expert member of the EBC Analysis Sub-Committees on Hops and Wort & Beer with EBC Analysis Group since 2014. Paula's background includes leadership positions at Mahou San Miguel from 2008 to 2017 as Head of the R&D Analytical Laboratory and Analytical Chemist, as well as experience as an Analytical Chemist at Campden BRI from February 2005 to August 2008. Educational credentials include a Diploma in Brewery Engineering from the Scandinavian School of Brewing (2020-2021), a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management, Quality Systems, and Occupational Safety from Universidad de Oviedo (2002-2003), and a Bachelor’s Degree in Analytical Chemistry from Universidad de Oviedo (1997-2002).
