Santanu Bhattacharya

Santanu Bhattacharya is an experienced professional in the field of agricultural biotechnology, currently serving as Assistant Crop Lead for Cauliflower at Mahyco since August 2022. Prior to this role, Santanu worked as Testing Manager at Bayer CropScience Vegetable Seeds from April 2021 to August 2022 and held the position of Sr. Executive in Product Development (Veg GU) at Mahyco from March 2013 to April 2021. Santanu's career began at Pan Seeds Private Limited as a Junior Research Officer from June 2011 to February 2013, focusing on the DUS characterization of stable hybrid and inbred paddy varieties. Santanu holds a Master's Degree in Biotechnology with a specialization in Agricultural Biotechnology from Vidyasagar University and a Bachelor's Degree in Biotechnology from The University of Burdwan.
