Venketraman Srinivasan

Venketraman Srinivasan has a strong background in finance and accounting, with a focus on corporate finance and analytics. Venketraman has held various leadership roles throughout their career, starting as a Business Unit Controller at Sterlite Copper - India from 2006 to 2013. Venketraman then moved on to Vedanta Resources Plc, where they served in the Chairman's office as the Copper champion from 2013 to 2014. Venketraman continued their career at Vedanta Zinc International as the Head Finance - BMM from 2015 to 2016. In 2017, they joined Vedanta Resources Plc again as the AGM - FP&A until 2018. During the same year, they worked at Vedanta Alumina Limited as the Head Finance before moving to JSW Steel, where they first held the position of General Manager Analytics from 2018 to 2021 and then transitioned to AVP Finance and Accounts until 2022. Currently, Srinivasan is serving as the Head of Corporate Finance at Mahyco since November 2022.

Venketraman Srinivasan holds a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) degree in Accounting and Statistics from Mangalore University, which they obtained from 1999 to 2002. Venketraman is also a Chartered Accountant (CA) from The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India. In addition to their formal education, Venketraman Srinivasan has obtained certifications in Analytical Aptitude Assessment from Aryng in May 2018 and in Guy Kawasaki on Entrepreneurship from LinkedIn in August 2017.
