Yael Weiss

Yael Weiss has extensive experience in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industry.

Yael is currently the Chief Executive Officer of Mahzi Therapeutics, a position they have held since October 2021. Before that, they were a Member at Chief from April 2021 to April 2023.

Prior to their current roles, Yael held various positions at Ultragenyx Pharmaceutical Inc. from 2014 to 2022. Yael also gained experience at Merck Sharp & Dohme as a Medical Director from 2003 to 2007 and at Genzyme as a Medical Director from 2000 to 2003.

Before entering the pharmaceutical industry, Yael worked as the VP at Columbine Ventures from 1999 to 2002.
