Ariel Lafond

Ariel is a Senior Tax Advisor based in New York City. She joined MAI in 2021 following the acquisition of Monarch Wealth and Business Management, where she had been a Tax Manager since 2017.

Ariel began her career as an Associate at PwC in 2014 focusing on high-net-worth individual tax and private company tax. She was promoted to Senior Tax Associate where she was able to expand her responsibilities to include business development as well as tax consulting. In 2017, Ariel joined Monarch to lead tax planning and compliance initiatives for professional athletes, entertainers, and high net worth families.

She graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Finance and Accounting from Northeastern University in 2014. Ariel is a New York State licensed CPA and a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). She regularly attends seminars relating to tax reform to ensure her clients are compliant with all regulations.

Ariel has been actively involved in various charity organizations, including the Starkey Hearing Foundation and the American Cancer Society.
