Gene Ekster

Gene Ekster is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in alternative data and finance. Currently, Gene serves as an Adjunct Professor at New York University, where Gene launched and teaches the world's first accredited course on Alternative Data. As the Founder of Alternative Data Group, Gene collaborates with equity funds to enhance investment strategies. Gene is also an Advisory Board Member at multiple organizations, including Eagle Alpha and OttoQuant, and has played significant roles in various companies, such as 1010data and Point72, where Gene developed alternative data products and managed teams focused on data science. Gene's educational background includes an MBA from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and a BA in Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence from the University of California, Berkeley.
