John Coker

John Coker serves as an Adjunct Professor of Music at Our Lady of the Lake University, specializing in upright and electric bass as well as music composition since August 2023. Coker brings extensive experience as an Onboarding Specialist II at Mailgun by Sinch, assisting large companies with email deliverability and campaign success since December 2017. As a freelance professional, Coker has worked as a composer, producer, and sound designer, creating original music for theatre and concert works while performing in various genres as an expert bassist. Previous roles include Resident Composer and Sound Designer at The Classic Theatre of San Antonio, and experience as a Customer Care Representative at Spectrum. Coker holds a Master's degree in Music Performance, specializing in Double Bass, from The Peabody Institute of The Johns Hopkins University.
