Annamarie Sammartino

AnnaMarie Sammartino, DNP, RN, OCN has a diverse work experience in the healthcare field. AnnaMarie started their career as a Registered Nurse at CarePoint Health System in 2005 and worked there until 2020. During their time at CarePoint, they served as a Patient Care Director and later transitioned into the role of an Oncology Nurse Manager. In addition, they worked as a Registered Nurse Oncology at The Valley Health System from 2015 to 2018.

AnnaMarie also pursued a career in education, working as an Adjunct Professor at New Jersey City University since 2015 and as a Clinical Instructor at Hudson County Community College from 2019 to 2020.

Currently, AnnaMarie is the Director of Nursing at Maimonides Medical Center, a position they have held since June 2023.

AnnaMarie Sammartino, DNP, RN, OCN has a strong education history in the field of nursing. AnnaMarie obtained an Associate's degree in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse from Christ Hospital School of Nursing/Hudson County Community College in 2004. AnnaMarie then went on to earn a Bachelor's degree in Nursing Science from New Jersey City University from 2004 to 2010. In 2013, AnnaMarie pursued a Master's degree in Nursing Science from Thomas Edison State University. Additionally, they completed a Postgraduate Degree in Nursing Administration from the same institution during the same period. Continuing their education, AnnaMarie completed a Doctorate in Nursing Administration from Grand Canyon University between 2017 and 2019. AnnaMarie'smost recent educational pursuit is a Postgraduate Degree in Nursing Education at Grand Canyon University, which they are expected to complete in 2023.
