Dawn Farina, CPXP has extensive work experience in various roles. Dawn began their career as a Legal Assistant at Chaves and Perlowitz, LLP in 2006. Subsequently, they worked at the Late Show with David Letterman/Worldwide Pants, Inc. in different positions such as Receptionist/Travel Assistant, Music Assistant, CBS Page, and Music Intern. In 2012, Dawn joined Maimonides Medical Center where they held roles such as Special Projects Coordinator for Volunteer and Student Services, Patient Experience Coordinator, and currently serves as the Lead Patient Experience Coordinator. Their responsibilities at Maimonides include developing hospital-wide goals, implementing educational programs, analyzing outcomes, and leading team members for vendor NRC Health. Dawn has also led special projects, provided community outreach, conducted candidate interviews, and assisted with the processing of new volunteers. Overall, Dawn has a diverse background in administration, coordination, and healthcare.

Dawn Farina, CPXP received their Bachelor of Science degree in Arts Administration with a music concentration and an accounting minor from Wagner College in 2006. Dawn also holds the certification of Certified Patient Experience Professional, which they obtained from the Patient Experience Institute in October 2023.
